Hod HaSharon

This popular city in the southern part of the Sharon region was founded by combining four small farming villages into one city. With many parks and orchards between its residential neighborhoods, Hod HaSharon retains some of the character of an agricultural village, and its population density is currently the lowest in the region. Because of its proximity to Tel Aviv, Raanana, Kfar Saba and Petach Tikva, Hod HaSharon is increasing in popularity, with  50,000 inhabitants today and plans to increase this to 80,000 by 2025, along with a major expansion of its residential neighborhoods.
