This popular city in the southern part of the Sharon region was founded by combining four small farming villages into one city. With many parks and orchards between its residential neighborhoods, Hod HaSharon retains some of its original charm, but it also has excellent facilities including a number of large shopping malls and a skatepark. Because of its proximity to Tel Aviv, Raanana, Kfar Saba and Petach Tikva, Hod HaSharon is increasing in popularity and expanding its residential neighborhoods.
